What do you sell?

We sell children’s clothing starting at preemie to teen. We carry brands such as Baby Gap, Hanna Anderson, Jamie & Jack, Gymboree, Ralph Lauren...oops name dropping again! We also have tween to teen clothing including American Eagle, Justice, Hollister and many more.
We also have handbags, jewelry, shoes, ETC… Pack-n-plays, strollers, bouncy seats, swings, nursery furniture, bikes, are just to name a few, and a large selection of shoes.

Do I need an Appointment to bring clothing to consign?

An appointment is needed for consigning with us.  To request a drop off appointment to consign with us please send an email to GeorgieLus@gmail.com and include you name, phone number, and the best time to reach you.

Question 5

How should clothing be labeled?

Accepted Answer

You may bring up to 50 items packed in a clean disposable bag or box, labeled with your name and consigner number. Any items that do not meet our agreement standards for resale will be donated to a local mission and/ or a clothing bank.

Question 6

What condition must the clothing be in to consign?

Accepted Answer

Clothes must be freshly cleaned, free of pet hair and folded neatly.  We provide hangers for all items.  Please keep in mind clothes in current styles have a higher resale value.  We will not accept items that are stained, torn, pilled, recalled, broken or missing pieces.

How long until my clothing will be available to buyers?

Your items will be processed within 5 days.

Can I consign a large item?

Accepted Answer

If you have larger items, please indicate that you will be bringing these to consign when you call to make your appointment.  Our staff will evaluate them immediately and make a decision whether we can sell these items.  If not you will need to take the items back home. The remainder of the items will be processed as a Drop & Go as noted above.

Are there brands you won't accept?

We do not accept Wal-Mart, K Mart or Target Brands.   These brands are wearable but, not always sellable. We do not sell car seats, cribs, potty chairs or infant tubs.  Please call first if in doubt about what to bring

How much commission will I receive?

As a consigner at Georgie Lu’s you will earn 40% on clothing, shoes, toys, and misc. items that sell within the first 90 days on the sale floor, 50% on all large baby equipment items that sell within the first 90 days.

Question 11

How will I be paid and keep track of my sales?

Accepted Answer

Checks will be mailed the first week of March, May, July, September, November and January (Example: March’s check is for your items that sold in January & February)
We will assign you a consigner number and keep an inventory of your sales. You will use this number to locate account information.
A list of your items that sold and the amount they were sold for can be found on https://info.myconsigns.com
Account balances below $10.00 will roll forward to the next billing cycle.

What happens if I do not pick up my clothing or items after 90 days?

If you do not pick up your items after 90 days they become property of Georgie Lu's.
